Do I need an appointment to shop?

Outside prom season, yes: every visit is by appointment so you get a stylist and a fitting room to yourself. During prom season (January–May) we recommend booking ahead to guarantee your time. Request a time online or call (203) 269-4337. Same-day appointments are often available.

When should I shop for Prom 2027?

Prom season runs January through May and the earliest shoppers get the deepest selection in their size and color. Booking in January or February gives you first pick and plenty of time for alterations.

Which prom designers do you carry?

Sherri Hill, Jovani, Amarra, La Femme Fashion, Primavera Couture, Faviana, Sydney's Closet and Tease Prom. Use the Dress Finder to see which lines match your style, or ask your stylist.

Do you carry plus-size prom dresses?

Yes. Sydney's Closet and Tease Prom are designed for curves, Faviana carries extended sizes, and most of our other lines do too. Tell us your usual size when you book and we'll have options pulled.

Can I shop homecoming dresses?

Yes, by appointment in the off-season. Choose "Homecoming" on the appointment form and we'll set up a private showroom visit.

Do you carry Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom gowns?

No. Dynamite Designs now carries prom, homecoming, sweet sixteen and formal gowns only, and no longer stocks Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom styles.
